2. Product Overview
AI Beauty Receptionist is an AI receptionist for beauty salons. The core flow is: Instagram Direct → AI FAQ/booking assistant → draft booking → admin confirmation → Google Calendar/CRM sync.
The product is an internal managed-service tool for salons. In draft-safe operation, the AI prepares safe replies and draft bookings, while a human administrator reviews and confirms important actions.
3. Meta / Instagram Review
When a salon connects an Instagram professional account, incoming Instagram Direct messages can be processed by the service. The AI may answer safe salon-specific FAQ, detect booking intent, check availability, create a draft booking request, or ask a human administrator to take over when a topic is risky or unclear.
Client-facing AI replies are designed to be Ukrainian-only. Sensitive topics such as allergies, medical risk, complaints, refunds or discounts are handed off to a human administrator.
AI Beauty Receptionist helps beauty salons manage client conversations from Instagram Direct. A salon owner connects their Instagram professional account through Instagram Business Login. The app receives client messages, helps identify booking intent, answers basic salon FAQ, creates draft booking requests, and notifies the salon administrator for confirmation. The app does not post content automatically and does not sell user data.
- instagram_business_basic: used to identify the connected Instagram professional account and route messages to the correct salon workspace.
- instagram_business_manage_messages: used to receive/manage Instagram Direct messages from clients for FAQ and booking workflow.
- instagram_manage_comments: used only for booking-related questions in comments if enabled.
4. Google OAuth Review
If a salon connects Google Calendar, confirmed bookings can be synchronized as calendar events.
AI Beauty Receptionist uses Google Calendar access only for beauty salon appointment management. Calendar data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used outside the connected salon workspace.
Requested Google Calendar scope:
- calendar.events: Used to create, update, reschedule, and cancel appointment events after salon admin confirmation. The app creates calendar events only for confirmed salon bookings and updates or cancels those events when salon staff changes a booking.
5. Google Demo Video Checklist
Google verification demo video should show:
- Open Privacy Policy and Google API Limited Use Disclosure.
- Open Legal / Business Details page.
- Log into AI Beauty Receptionist admin.
- Open Test Beauty Pilot salon.
- Open Integrations → Google Calendar.
- Click Connect/Reconnect Google Calendar.
- Show Google OAuth consent screen in English.
- Show requested scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events. - Approve access.
- Return to app and show Google Calendar status: Connected.
- Create or open a pending booking.
- Confirm booking as admin.
- Show calendarSyncStatus = SYNCED.
- Open Google Calendar and show the created appointment event.
- Show that the event start/end match the service duration and booking time.

6. WhatsApp Business Review
WhatsApp Business is prepared as a controlled client communication channel. The integration supports disabled, mock, API-key and Embedded Signup-ready modes. Real automatic WhatsApp sending is not enabled by default while Meta permissions and templates are under review.
AI Beauty Receptionist uses WhatsApp Business messaging only for appointment-related salon communication: confirmations, reminders, reschedules, cancellations, and after-visit follow-up. Messages are sent only when a client provided a phone number and there is a booking/service context or consent. The app does not use WhatsApp for spam, unrelated marketing, or selling user data.
- whatsapp_business_messaging: used to send appointment-related template messages after required consent, booking context and template approval.
- Webhook messages: prepared for future inbound WhatsApp FAQ and booking conversations using the same AI safety rules as Instagram Direct.
- Draft safety: WhatsApp messages are prepared in Ukrainian and require admin approval; mock sending is allowed, real sending requires explicit configuration.
7. Demo Links
These links can be used during a review video. Salon-specific URLs depend on the selected salon ID, so the safest path is to open the admin and choose the salon by name.

8. Admin Review Flow
A typical review flow is:
- Open the internal admin application at https://app.beautyai.ink/login.
- Open the prepared review salon card.
- Use AI Test → Client Chat Simulation to send a sample Instagram-like client message.
- Review AI intent detection, suggested reply, draft booking, notification log and automation jobs.
- Confirm or reject draft bookings as a human administrator.
- Open the connected integration logs to show Telegram delivery status and Google Calendar sync status when configured.
